When I decided to do the portrait project, I wanted to have a creative twist. I decided that, when you first meet someone, it's hard to get to know them immediately. So, for this project, I tried to capture characteristics of my friends that a person might not know about them when they first met them. When I started this project, I let my friends decide what to put on their name tag. They, decided what their most dominate personaltiy trait is, and allowed me to share it through this project. I had a lot of fun with this because I spent a lot of time pulling my friends into the project, at various places where we all spend a lot of time together. This project reminded me of the good things you can find in people if you look hard enough.

Honduras. Where is a better place to get pictures for a urban decay project? When I started this project I had around five hundred pictures to choose from to edit. I ended up choosing the ones that captured the times when I have a expierence that changed me, a new lessen was learned, or a joke was told. These pictures are taken in the midst of a story that has been told many times since I got back to Ohio. By editing these pictures, it has been the easiest way to explain the expierence i went through in Honduras. "The best way to find yourself is to loose yourself in the service of others." -Ghandi

This project was surprisingly difficult for me. I took a long time trying to think of a creative way to show reflection in my life, but most of my ideas got shot down because of the snow days we had. So, i decided that i would try to capture reflection in my home. These pictures were taken of things that I see almost everyday, and forget is there. Hopefully, you can find the reflection in all of these pictures. Enjoy!
